Don’t tell me the moon is shining; show me the glint of light on broken glass
For this project we where given quotes to make a 3 minuet video piece. The video Piece had to be based on a quote. I had chosen a quote by Anton Chekov
“don’t tell me the moon is shinning; show me the glint of light on broken glass”
I chose this quote as I was instantly inspired and thought this would be a great opportunity to work with low light and bokeh. This video had to be created in an abstract way to create a unique piece. I was also inspired by “blink 182 Always” music video
Man and the Forest
I have now had a bit of practice with film work as my current project in Foundation Art is digital story telling, for this project we where taken to Coed-Y-Brenin. We where told to create a film that lasted 30 seconds and to capture what coed-Y-Brenin.
Coed-Y-Brenin is a popular forest park. It is popular for its mountain bike trails and hiking paths. I wanted to capture how man and the forest have come together.
A Day in the Life of a College Student
I am not to good when it comes to film work. I am studying Foundation Art, for this project we where given the title “a day in the life of a college student” and where told to make a video on this title.
I was inspired by “The Walking Dead” intro. As I wanted to show my college life as if i was living in the Zombie apocalypse
Box Heads “Dead Inside”
Finally finished my A-level in Art and design and can’t wait to see the garde I have been given for this year’s work and I am very excited to start my foundation course in art and design.
For the end of my course we held an exebition to display our art work to the public. I created a short movie piece showing my box heads and skull heads
In this short film piece I have created. I have used layers to show what is beneath the box
The area I have used is my home town which is currently dying with the amount of shops closing I thought this would be a perfect place to shoot my box heads as my title is dead inside for this set of work
