Its my 4th week of my final project in foundation Art. For my Final project I am woking with nature as a subject. and each week I use a different form of Photography
All these Images are taken on my mobile phone. I hate using my mobile to take images as I just don’t feel comfortable using it as I have a High quality camera and I feel more commutable using my canon so I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and use my mobile to take some interesting shots.
In these Images I have used a micrascope capturing Leaves and flower petals. I like the veins I have captured on the petals and leafs. I wanted to focus on something that we never really notice showing the beauty and the details that these plants have and we do not give them the respect they deserve as they are powerful and beautiful.
I have captured my self in a rainy landscape to emphasise a bad Dream, as I live in North Wales where the rain never stops, creating a gloomy, moody atmosphere and I wanted to capture how hard it can be to be joyful in such a cold, wet, cloudy, landscape. I am representing defeat with my body language in these images, and the struggle to raise my head, and to not be staring at the muddy ground, I am often told to stop daydreaming. I am just in my own world. Trying to forget about the rain, trying to daydream about the blue sky and green fields and not cold, wet, grey clouds. and this is just a dream, Once I raise my head I can see the rain fading away and that this storm won’t last forever. I can’t admit to defeat doesn’t matter how lonely or lost I feel there is always some sunshine in North Wales. this is just a dream.
I Liked this image I have captured and just wanted to share it. I feel like it shows the true meaning to a Countryside Rebel for the kids who don’t hang around on the streets and who prefer to live the adventurous side that snowdonia has to offer. I captured these two subject walking across a farm gate using it as a slackline.
I have traveled to many places, and Brussels is one of my favourite cities I have seen so far. The architecture in Brussels is beautiful some buildings are a bit strange but yet amazing like the Atomium. There is so much photograph. I visited many galleries on my trip to Brussels such as the Royal Museums of Fine Arts, Comic Strip Center
why a self portrait ?
I have used my Self in these images as it is always challenge finding a model when I need them, I was inspired by photographer Miss Aniela for her self-portrait work as she also struggled to find models to photograph. I fell in love with her work and the way she has photographed her self in different locations and how she multiplies her self

Photoshop can be quite easy when you are just editing the brightness, contrast, shadows, etc. but when it comes to merging 2 images together its not that easy .
Here I have created a skull using 2 different animals, a rabbit and a sheep. I created this piece for my A-level art work. I did not go any further with merging skulls as I continued to work with my ram skull.
I have an Instagram page you are welcome to follow https://www.instagram.com/photographing_jodie/
I do post images a lot quicker on Instagram than I do on here. using my blog I try to go more into depth about my images and I like to use this space as an online portfolio
Location: Beacon Climbing Centre
I caught this climber pulling the best gameface, and this has to be one of my favourite shots I have caught whilst shooting climbing competitions. I had photographed many climbers that day but as the day went on the climbs got harder and I was lucky enough to catch this climber in the right moment pulling the best game face I have seen.
Graen magazine is a small magazine created to show that north Wales is not a hobbiton or a fairy Glen it’s to show people in North Wales are rock like people, the mountain people to show that Wales is a place for cool people.
I was very lucky to get the chance to work for this magazine where I got my own page in the first issue.
Working for this magazine had been the best bit of my photography career as I have been given VIP passes to festivals to shoot some images but that is not the only cool thing. I have also got to meet some other photographers such as the well known photographer in climbing Ray Wood. I also got to meet a well known suffer Jack Meeks who I interviewed for the magazine.
In my article about my self I wrote. “Jodie Evans is a 19 year old photographer from Harlech. She shoots outdoor sports, Climbing, Surfing, capturing body movements and artistic, sinister looking images. She is strange like that. She uses a Cannon 70D and photoshop CS6 to edit”
